Crispy Fried Chicken


I found this recipe in on a food group , and immediately I wanted try , after trying for few times I decided to make it with my own twist  , since the original recipe calls for flat chicken breasts but I used chicken pieces with bone since I feel chicken is juicer with bone on


Step 1

Marinate 10 to 12 medium size pieces of chicken , add one egg , 3 tablespoons on corn flour and 3 table spoons of flour 1 and half tablespoon of ginger garlic .Mix  everything well

Step 2

For spices add 2 tsp of vinegar and 2 tsp of lemon juice. As per your taste add salt ,red chili powder and black pepper power and you may add a pinch  mixed Italian herbs , after mixing the everything keep the marinated chicken in fridge for at least 4 hours.


Before Frying


Step 3

In a bowl take about 1 cup of flour and add red chili and salt according to your taste , set this aside, it will be coating for your chicken.



Step 4 

Heat oil , take out chicken from the fridge , coat one piece at a time in the spiced flour and fry in batches at a medium flame , fry the batch for at least 12 to 15 mins , keep an eye on the chicken to see its color turn goldern brown and the coating becoming crispy. Fry rest of chicken.


Step 5

Serve hot , with buttered buns ,salad or fries.







 Useful Tips


  • Clean chicken properly before marinating so that its does not leaves any blood while frying.

  • Fry in batches , dont fry all the pieces all together , it will crammy and the coating will fall off.

  • Dont fry on a high heat it will burn the chicken from out side leaving the meat raw inside.

  •  A batch may be of 3 to 4 piece according to the size of your wok.
